Module 9: PodCasts
We were introduced to Podcasts this week. I honestly have never given this forum much thought. I can't recall when the lat time I actually even listened to a Podcast - so it was interesting to learn more about this tool and how it is used in art education! I also appreciated the royalty free music libraries and references - they are all very inspiring.

I reviewed successful Podcast planning and learned that if I following these steps, I can create a pretty decent Podcast:
• Determine your audience
• Determine a topic and objective
• Determine a format
• Determine the length of the podcast
• Write a script
• Choose music or sounds
• Choose images
It was very helpful to have a Podcast planning worksheet to review and I browsed several Podcasts online to see how they work the format.
I want to share part of my Podcast line up of artists that I drafted this week. I wanted to focus on women photographers. Each week my goal is to review a different group of image makers. The first episode focuses on women who take dreamlike self-portraits.
Below are the six photographers I highlighted in my Podcast:
• Ellen Rogers, 2014 (UK)
• Aéla Labbé, 2014 (FRANCE)
• Rebecca Cornwell, 2015 (USA)
• Pilar Martinez, 2015 (SPAIN)
• Chemiko Bleu, 2015 (USA/JAPAN)
• Ingrid van Meggelen, 2015 (NEDERLANDS)
